I give away a % of my monthly income to people I meet day-to-day.
Most of them are beggars and homeless, but I have also paid for people’s groceries, gas cards, and ice creams for kids from larger families.

(Yes, I always carry cash with me.)
Why do I do it?
It's simply the easiest way to brighten someone's day and potentially alter their view of the world.
It also feels good to be in a position to help.
It means I have enough, and I’m aware of it.

She turned to me, her eyes wide, her thankfulness profound but unspoken.
“It’s okay, this is how the world works—I help you, you help somebody else and the cycle continues,” I smiled.
People have shown me kindness too, which likely inspires this practice.
I like to think of it as keeping the karma flowing—money never truly disappears; it just moves from one pocket to another. I just help guide it to where it's needed most.
This abundance mindset and trust in the universe reassure me that I'll continue to prosper.
Speaking of which...
There is magic to this practice, too
